TORONTO, Feb 20 (Reuters) - Canada’s main stock index ended little changed on Friday as a decline in the energy sector, following weakness in the price of oil, helped offset a gain in shares of Valeant Pharmaceuticals International Inc.

The Toronto Stock Exchange’s S&P/TSX composite index unofficially closed down. 8.09 points, or 0.05 percent, at 15,172.24. (Reporting by John Tilak; Editing by Meredith Mazzilli)
