U.S. stock index e-mini futures rose slightly on Tuesday: Dow Jones industrial average futures were up 0.19 percent at 17,838, S&P 500 futures were up 0.16 percent at 2,076.5 and Nasdaq 100 futures were up 0.22 percent at 4,352.

** FEDEX CORP, Monday close $166.67, +5.27 pct premarket

The company is seeking to buy Dutch package delivery firm TNT Express for an agreed 4.4 billion euros ($4.8 billion), aiming to succeed where United Parcel Service failed two years ago when its bid was blocked by competition regulators.

** SHIRE PLC, Monday close $229.83, +2.72 pct premarket

The London-listed pharmaceuticals firm said on Tuesday it had agreed with U.S. regulators the steps it would take to submit a candidate drug to treat hyperactivity in adults for clearance.

** AXALTA COATING SYSTEMS LTD, Monday close $28.33, +4.09 pct premarket

The paints company said Berkshire Hathaway Inc would buy an 8.7 percent stake in the company from controlling shareholder Carlyle Group for $560 million. Warren Buffett’s Berkshire is buying 20 million shares at $28 per share.

** CELLADON CORP, Monday close $17.79, +5.12 pct premarket

H.C. Wainwright began covering the drug developer’s stock with a “buy” rating and a target price of $31. The brokerage said it expected the company to report positive data from a mid-stage trial of its experimental gene therapy Mydicar.

** JP MORGAN CHASE & CO, Monday close $60.47, +0.99 pct premarket

Bernstein raised its rating on the bank’s stock to “outperform” from “market-perform” and raised its price target to $70 from $67. “We feel incrementally better about the 15/16 prospects for JPM to post improved core trading revenues, additional cost leverage and optimize its franchise for a regulatory environment that may finally be stabilizing,” Bernstein analysts wrote in a note.

** CERULEAN PHARMA INC, Monday close $6.5, -0.62 pct premarket

The cancer drug developer said the offering of 5.8 million of its shares was priced at $6 per share.

** RYANAIR HOLDINGS PLC, Monday close $63.92, +3.60 pct premarket

The Irish airline said passenger traffic rose 28 percent to 6.67 million in March. Passenger load factor increased by 10 percentage points to 90 percent.

** GREENBRIER CO INC, Monday close $60.6, +6.44 pct premarket

The railcar maker raised its 2015 profit forecast to $5.65-$5.95 per share from $5.20-$5.50 and it reported better-than-expected profit and revenue for the second quarter.

** OCULAR THERAPEUTIX INC, Monday close $38.3, -33.42 pct premarket

The drugmaker said its lead eye drug failed to meet one of the main goals in a second late-stage study. The drug, OTX-DP, was effective in reducing pain in patients who had cataract surgery, but failed to reduce inflammation in the eyes, the company said.

** GENERAL MOTORS CO, Monday close $36.66, -1.88 pct premarket

Canada has entered into an agreement to sell nearly 73.4 million shares it owns in General Motors to Goldman Sachs , an investment unit of the Canadian government said on Monday. Following the sale, the Canadian government will have sold all of its remaining GM shares.

** PETROLEO BRASILEIRO SA, Monday close $6.8, +1.47 pct premarket

The Brazilian state-run oil company said on Monday it would halt five drilling rigs under contract with Schahin. Petrobras, as the company is known, said it was informed by Schahin on April 2 that the financially strapped oil services company was planning a controlled shutdown of drilling activities at five of its rigs.

** TWITTER INC, Monday close $50.84, +0.59 pct premarket

The microblogging website company has complied with Turkey’s request to remove photographs of a prosecutor held at gunpoint by far-left militants, an official said on Monday, and a ban on it ended hours after being imposed.

** STARBUCKS CORP, Monday close $94.52, +0.51 pct premarket

The coffee chain operator is expanding its employee college tuition assistance program to cover the entire cost of getting an online bachelor’s degree, its chief executive said on Monday.

** DELTA AIR LINES INC, Monday close $41.76, +1.17 pct premarket

The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers said on Monday it had temporarily withdrawn its application to organize flight attendants at Delta Air Lines.

** VIACOM INC, Monday close $68.6, -1.60 pct premarket

The U.S. media company said it would undertake a restructuring, including cutting jobs, abandoning some acquired titles and reorganizing three of its domestic network groups into two new organizations, to drive growth.

** BLACKROCK INC, Monday close $366.98
