BUZZ-U.S. STOCKS ON THE MOVE-Palo Alto, Tiffany, Xerox, SunEdison

Dow Jones industrial average futures were down 0.48 percent at 17,677, S&P 500 futures were down 0.53 percent at 2,073.25 and Nasdaq 100 futures were down 0.56 percent at 4,649.75.

The cyber security company forecast current quarter sales that beat market expectations and reported higher-than-expected quarterly revenue as companies and governments spent more to protect themselves from cyber attacks.

** TIFFANY & CO, Monday close $76.55, -4.73 pct premarket

The upscale jeweler’s quarterly sales fell 2.2 percent as a strong dollar hurt tourist spending in the United States and reduced the value of sales from other markets.

** BRISTOL-MEYERS SQUIBB CO, Monday close $67.99, +0.75 pct premarket

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has approved Bristol-Myers’ drug, Opdivo, for treatment of advanced renal cell carcinoma (RCC), a type of kidney cancer.

** XEROX CORP, Monday close $10.75, +3.72 pct premarket

Activist investor Carl Icahn disclosed a stake in Xerox and called the printer and copier maker’s shares “undervalued”.

** VALEANT PHARMACEUTICALS INTERNATIONAL INC, Monday close $87.41, +3.99 pct premarket

Activist investor Bill Ackman’s hedge fund has significantly increased its investment in the Canadian drugmaker and signaled it may play a greater role in the beleaguered drugmaker’s strategy, according to a regulatory filing.

Aerojet Rocketdyne on Monday announced contracts from NASA and the Chicago-based aircraft maker Boeing with a combined value of nearly $1.36 billion, welcome news for the company after several recent financial setbacks.

The solar company plans to sell solar power capacity worth about 400 megawatts in India for roughly $350 million, as the U.S.-based firm looks to shed assets to boost balance sheet, said two sources with direct knowledge of the matter.

** SANOFI SA, Monday close $43.88, -1.46 pct premarket

U.S. drug benefit manager CVS Health said on Monday it would add Amgen’s Repatha cholesterol treatment to its list of covered drugs for private plans over a competing treatment from Regeneron and Sanofi.

** EMERGENT BIOSOLUTIONS INC, Monday close $37.74
