U.S. stock index e-mini futures fell on Wednesday: Dow Jones industrial average futures were down 0.18 percent at 16,818, S&P 500 futures were down 0.21 percent at 1,973.75 and Nasdaq 100 futures were down 0.14 percent at 4,331.75.
