Sept 12 (Reuters) - U.S. stocks reversed course to trade higher on Monday as gains in technology stocks more than offset declines in financials.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average was up 0.12 percent at 18,107.67, the S&P 500 was up 0.23 percent at 2,132.8 and the Nasdaq Composite was up 0.39 percent at 5,145.953.

** BANK OF AMERICA CORP, $15.695, -0.29 pct

** WELLS FARGO & CO, $48.155, -1.16 pct

** CITIGROUP INC, $46.8, -0.78 pct

** GOLDMAN SACHS GROUP INC, $167.95, -0.37 pct

** MORGAN STANLEY, $31.48, -0.35 pct

U.S. banks with international exposure down following global selloff, sparked by concerns global central banks may pull back from monetary policy easing.

** PERRIGO CO PLC, $91.42, +3.05 pct

Starboard Value LP disclosed a 4.6 percent stake in the generic drugmaker, making the activist investor one of the Dublin-based drugmaker’s biggest shareholders.

** HORIZON PHARMA PLC, $18.02, +4.40 pct

** RAPTOR PHARMACEUTICAL CORP, $8.965, +20.34 pct

Horizon Pharma said it has agreed to buy Raptor Pharmaceutical for nearly $800 million to strengthen its portfolio of rare disease drugs.


** AGRIUM INC, $93.85, -1.43 pct

Canada’s Agrium Inc and Potash Corp of Saskatchewan Inc agreed to combine in a deal that would create a fertilizer giant with an enterprise value of about $36 billion but also draw scrutiny from U.S. regulators.

** OPENTEXT CORP, $64.6101, +8.10 pct

Canadian business software maker OpenText Corp said it agreed to buy Dell-EMC’s enterprise content division for $1.62 billion as it looks to expand its services to larger businesses.

** PRAXAIR INC, $116.95, -0.39 pct

German industrial gases group Linde AG and U.S. rival Praxair Inc have ended talks to create a $60-billion-plus market leader, they said on Monday, after failing to agree where to locate key activities and who would run the business.

** SOLARCITY CORP, $17.01, +1.43 pct

The solar panel installer, which is being bought by Tesla Motors Inc for $2.6 billion, said on Monday it had raised $305 million to fund its projects.

** HP INC, $14.13, +1.32 pct

The computer and printer maker said it would buy Samsung Electronics Co Ltd’s printer business in a deal valued at $1.05 billion.

** TESLA MOTORS CO, $197.1252, +1.37 pct

The electric-car maker’s Chief Executive Elon Musk said on Sunday the automaker was updating its semi-autonomous driving system Autopilot with new limits on hands-off driving and other improvements that likely would have prevented a fatality in May.
