BUZZ-BlackBerry could be the next Nvidia - Citron

** BlackBerry’s U.S.-listed shares up 7.7 pct at $11.38 in heavy morning trading, Toronto-listed shares up 8.8 pct

** Short-selling firm Citron Research believes the Canadian firm could be the next Nvidia Corp, says the stock could double from the current levels bit.ly/2rulNoR

** Citron sets 24-month target at $20, believes co a likely buyout target at a sizeable premium

** “Each of the three companies quoted below (Qualcomm, NVIDIA, and NXP Semi) has a compelling case as an acquirer of Blackberry primarily to acquire QNX,” Citron writes in the report

** Citron says BlackBerry’s QNX OS is a potential game changer in the race for self-driving cars, with an install base of 60 mln vehicles

** NVDA’s shares, 2016’s top S&P 500 performer, have zoomed recently as investors hope its bets on rapidly-growing areas such as data center computing, artificial intelligence and self-driving systems pay off

** Including session’s gains, BBRY had risen ~68 pct YTD while NVDA up ~34 pct
