CANADA STOCKS-TSX opens higher on gains in energy shares

Jan 30 (Reuters) - Canada’s main stock index opened higher on Wednesday, driven by gains in energy shares amid rising oil prices.

* At 9:30 a.m. ET (14:30 GMT), the Toronto Stock Exchange’s S&P/TSX composite index was up 30.22 points, or 0.2 percent, at 15,493.36.
