Dow Jones industrial average futures were down 0.01 percent at 18,184, S&P 500 futures were down 0.11 percent at 2,111.5 and Nasdaq 100 futures were down 0.16 percent at 4,443.25.

** APPLE INC, Tuesday close $132.17, -0.43 pct premarket

The iPhone maker has been ordered to pay $532.9 million after a federal jury in Texas found that its iTunes software infringed three patents owned by patent licensing firm Smartflash LLC.

** LOWE’S COS INC, Tuesday close $74.65, +2.61 pct premarket

The No.2. U.S. home improvement products retailer reported same-store sales well above analysts’ estimates as lower gas prices and an improving job market encouraged Americans to spend more on home renovations.

** MAGNA INTERNATIONAL INC, Tuesday close $102.25

The Canadian auto parts maker cut its revenue forecast for 2015, hurt by weak demand from Europe.

** ENCANA CORP, Tuesday close $13.02

Canada’s largest natural gas producer reported an 84.5 percent drop in operating profit for the fourth quarter, hurt by a fall in natural gas production and weak oil prices.

** HEWLETT-PACKARD CO, Tuesday close $38.49, -6.34 pct premarket

The world’s No.2 PC maker reported flat or lower quarterly revenue in all its operating units on Tuesday, and forecast full-year earnings well below analysts’ expectations due to a strong U.S. dollar.

At least three brokerages cut their price targets on the stock.

** DREAMWORKS ANIMATION SKG INC, Tuesday close $21.13, -9.13 pct premarket

The Hollywood studio said it expected revenue in its feature film business to decline in the mid-teen percent range as it had only one theatrical release planned for 2015.

** BANK OF NEW YORK MELLON CORP, Tuesday close $21.13, -9.13 pct premarket

Bank of New York Mellon is in settlement talks with the U.S. Justice Department and New York attorney general over claims the bank defrauded clients in foreign exchange transactions, according to sources familiar with the matter.

** HEALTHWAYS INC, Tuesday close $20.88, +3.8 pct after market

Jefferies LLC raised its price target on the stock to $21 from $16 after the company forecast full-year revenue and profit in line with analysts’ estimates.

** NUVASIVE INC, Tuesday close $48.46, -3.8 pct after market

At least four brokerages raised their price target on NuVasive after the medical-device maker reported better-than-expected quarterly profit late Tuesday.

** CURIS INC, Tuesday close $2.8, +1.1 pct after market

The drug developer said it would started offering shares of its common stock to raise money for research purposes. The company did not disclose how many shares it was offering.

** CHICAGO BRIDGE & IRON CO NV, Tuesday close $41.72, +3.07 pct premarket

The energy infrastructure provider reported a better-than-expected fourth-quarter profit and revenue on Tuesday, helped by strong results in its engineering, construction and maintenance business.

** CORELOGIC INC, Tuesday close $35.91, -5.3 pct after market

The company’s profit forecast for the full year missed analysts’ estimates and it posted lower-than-expected fourth-quarter profit and revenue.

** NEKTAR THERAPEUTICS, Tuesday close $13.48

The drug developer reported fourth-quarter revenue of $19.6 million, beating analysts’ average estimate of $17.3 million.

** LA QUINTA HOLDINGS INC, Tuesday close $21.85, +2 pct after market

The owner of the La Quinta hotel brand reported an about 9 percent rise in adjusted revenue, helped by higher occupancy which allowed it to charge more for its rooms in the fourth quarter. The company said it expects 2015 comparable revenue per available room to rise in the range of 5.5-7 percent, over and above an 8.4 percent rise in 2014.

** U.S. SILICA HOLDINGS INC, Tuesday close $30.58, -9 pct after market

The commercial silica maker said on Tuesday it was suspending its forecast for adjusted earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and ammortization until such time it gains clarity regarding customers’ business activity levels.

** PAPA JOHN’S INTERNATIONAL INC, Tuesday close $65.27, -4 pct after market

The pizza chain operator forecast earnings per share of $1.98-$2.06 for 2015, below the average analyst estimate of $2.11.

** THE RUBICON PROJECT INC, Tuesday close $17.88, +8.9 pct after market

The online advertising services provider reported a fourth-quarter profit and revenue above analysts’ estimates.

** BOSTON BEER CO INC, Tuesday close $310.71, -12 pct after market

The company said it expects 2015 profit between $7.10 and $7.50 per share, below the average analyst estimate of $7.96. Boston Beer’s fourth-quarter revenue missed estimates as margins on higher brewery processing costs and unfavorable product mix effects.

** CAMPBELL SOUP CO, Tuesday close $47.22

The soup and snacks maker is expected to report second-quarter results before markets open on Wednesday. In the last two weeks, it lowered its guidance and announced a $200 million cost cutting plan.

** DOLLAR TREE INC, Tuesday close $77.47

The discount retailer Dollar Tree will announce its fourth-quarter results on Wednesday morning. Investors will look for comments on whether the company will have to divest more stores to satisfy antitrust regulators reviewing its planned acquisition of Family Dollar Stores.

** HALCON RESOURCES CORP, Tuesday close $2.05

The oil producer is expected to report a drop in quarterly profit, though Wall Street is eager to learn how the company is developing its lucrative North Dakota acreage.

** HOLLYFRONTIER CORP, Tuesday close $40.82

The independent refiner is expected to report a lower quarterly profit due to narrowing margins between U.S. crude and the international benchmark Brent.

** TARGET CORP, Tuesday close $76.95, +1.51 pct premarket

The retailer is expected to report a sharp jump in profits for the fourth quarter due to solid holiday sales, in a rebound from the holiday quarter last year when the security breach marred its results.

** CABLEVISION SYSTEMS CORP, Tuesday close $19.8

The cable television company, which has lost video subscribers for the past four quarters, is expected to post further losses in its video subscribers in the fourth quarter.

** TJX COS INC, Tuesday close $67.16, +0.19 pct premarket

The off-price retailer is expected to report a higher quarterly profit before the bell on Wednesday.
