BUZZ-U.S. STOCKS ON THE MOVE-Aduro, Galmed, energy stocks, XBiotech

The Dow Jones industrial average was up 0.59 percent at 18,142.23 and the S&P 500 was up 0.72 percent at 2,111.

** INTEL CORP, $32.9, +4.48 pct

The chipmaker forecast revenue broadly in line with Wall Street’s expectations and signaled a hefty cut in capital expenditures this year.

** ADURO BIOTECH INC, $35.97, +111.59 pct

The cancer immunotherapy company’s shares more than double after pricing upsized offering. The company offered 7 million shares, up from 5 million, at $17, above original filed range of $14-$16.

** MOLYCORP INC, $0.9051, +68.77 pct

The rare earth miner said it has been chosen by Siemens AG to supply rare earth minerals over next 10 years from its Mountain Pass, California facility.

** GALMED PHARMACEUTICALS LTD, $11, +25.28 pct

Roth Capital started coverage on the drug developer’s stock with a “buy” rating.

** XBIOTECH INC, $23.7011, +24.74 pct

The drugmaker’s shares rose as much as 30 percent in their debut to $24.75, valuing the company at about $99 million.

** SMITH & WESSON HOLDING CORP, $14.62, +12.46 pct

The gunmaker raised its fourth-quarter and full-year profit and revenue forecast, citing stronger-than-expected orders in the fourth quarter ending April 30.

** ALCATEL LUCENT SA, $3.955, -19.78 pct

** NOKIA, $7.64, -4.02 pct

Finnish telecom network equipment maker Nokia has agreed to buy Alcatel-Lucent in an all-share transaction that values its smaller French rival at 15.6 billion euros ($16.6 billion).

** LEXICON PHARMACEUTICALS INC, $0.9827, +8.01 pct

The drugmaker and partner Bristol-Myers Squibb Co pick drug candidate for development as a potential treatment for neuropathic pain.

Oil prices jumped more than a dollar on Wednesday after a lower-than-expected build of crude oil stocks in the United States.

Venezuelan state oil company PDVSA has offered to buy Harvest Natural’s stake in the Petrodelta joint venture, according to a source close to PDVSA, but the Texas-based oil and gas producer later said no “fair” proposal had been made.

** CELSION CORP, $3.22, +21.18 pct

The drugmaker reported positive interim data from mid-stage study of its ThermoDox in treating a form of breast cancer.

** ANGIE‘S LIST INC, $6.2, +10.32 pct

The online review company raised its 2015 adjusted EBITDA forecast to $30 milllion-$32 million from $28 million-$30 million as it streamlines operating expenses.

** RADISYS CORP, $2.1, +6.06 pct

The network gear maker reported preliminary first-quarter profit and revenue above analysts’ average estimate due to a 20 percent rise in software-systems revenue.

** 58.COM INC, $65.16, -3.99 pct

The Chinese classified advertising website and its competitor, Ganji.com, are in talks about a possible merger, a person with direct knowledge of the matter said, in a sign of further consolidation in the mainland’s hot technology sector.

** RCS CAPITAL, $9.15, -8.32 pct

** LPL FINANCIAL HOLDINGS, $40.81, -2.81 pct

Shares of the brokerages fell after the U.S. Labor Department proposed sweeping changes on Tuesday that would require brokers who offer retirement advice to enter into “best interest” contracts with investors, in an effort to ensure customers are not steered into high-fee products.

** MONROE CAPITAL CORP, $14.7056, -3.57 pct

The business development company announced a stock offering on Tuesday.

** SAGE THERAPEUTICS INC, $61.325, +14.22 pct

The drug developer said it would offer 2.3 million shares at $52.50 per share, a discount of 2 percent to the stock’s Tuesday close.

** PRECISION CASTPARTS CORP, $209.54, -2.98 pct

The forging and fastener systems maker said it estimated a pretax non-cash impairment charge of $210 million-$220 million for the fourth quarter related to its 50 percent stake in Yangzhou Chengde Steel Tube Co Ltd, which it plans to sell.

** MOBILEYE NV, $45.77, +8.08 pct

Morgan Stanley raised its price target on the driver-assistance system maker’s stock to $68, while Deutsche Bank raised to $55 from $53.

** ENPHASE ENERGY INC, $13.9, +6.76 pct

Analysts at J P Morgan started coverage on the microinverter maker’s stock with an “overweight” rating.

** BALLARD POWER SYSTEMS INC, $2.45, +8.41 pct

The Canadian fuel-cell maker said it received an order from a Chinese customer to supply power modules for eight buses to be deployed in Chinese cities.

** GOPRO INC, $46.1595, +3.78 pct

Analysts at Piper Jaffray upgraded the wearable camera maker’s stock to “overweight”.

** CARROLS RESTAURANT GROUP INC, $8.6, +3.74 pct

The Burger King franchisee estimated revenue in the first quarter to rise 27.5 percent to $193.2 million.

** DYNEGY INC, $32.35, +5.96 pct

The U.S. power company said power prices for 2015-2016 in Zone-4 in Illinois, its primary operating region, cleared at $150/megawatt-day in auction, compared with $16.75/MW-day in previous auction.

** MOBILE TELESYSTEMS OAO, $11.92, +6.14 pct
