The Dow Jones Industrial Average was down 0.26 percent at 18,759.42, the S&P 500 was down 0.55 percent at 2,155.57 and the Nasdaq Composite was down 0.29 percent at 5,193.78.

** ADVANCED MICRO DEVICES INC, $6.6, +4.85 pct
Nvidia reported its biggest quarterly revenue growth in more than six years as demand soared for its gaming chips used in personal computers.
** MICHAEL KORS HOLDINGS LTD, $47.25, -8.71 pct
The apparel and accessories maker's quarterly revenue declined for the first time since going public in 2011 and missed estimates as the company cut back on supplying products to U.S. department stores.
** WALT DISNEY CO, $96.89, +2.03 pct
The media company executives promised earnings growth for the next two years, easing investor concerns over a quarterly drop in ad sales and subscribers at its ESPN sports network.
** DILLARD'S INC, $67.06, -4.84 pct
The department store operator reported lower-than-expected quarterly revenue and profit. The company cut capex estimate for the second time.
** PTC THERAPEUTICS INC, $10.51, +75.17 pct
European Medicines Agency's Committee for Medicinal Products for Human Use recommended renewal of conditional marketing authorization of Translarna for treatment of nonsense mutation Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
** PAREXEL INTERNATIONAL CORP, $54.88, -9.26 pct
The company said it would miss the deadline to file its latest quarterly report as it had identified potential errors in its prior reports.
** PRA HEALTH SCIENCES INC, $55.22, -5.41 pct
Top shareholder KKR & Co LLP sold about 12 percent stake in the contract research company.
** COMMUNITY HEALTH SYSTEMS INC, $4.84, -2.22 pct
Credit Suisse downgraded the hospital operator to "underperform" from "neutral", according to a trader.
** ALIBABA GROUP HOLDING LTD, $92.59, -1.86 pct
Chinese e-commerce company's Singles' Day sales surged past last year's 91.2 billion yuan ($13.36 billion) total, but growth was markedly slower than in 2015 as shoppers sought even bigger price cuts.
** PFIZER INC, $32.44, -3.14 pct
