Dow Jones industrial average futures were up 0.04 percent at 19,239, S&P 500 futures were down 0.02 percent at 2,209.5 and Nasdaq 100 futures were down 0.17 percent at 4,778.75.
** WESTERN DIGITAL CORP, Tuesday close $63.85, +5.25 pct premarket
The data storage company raised its second-quarter adjusted profit forecast to $2.10-$2.15 per share, from $1.85-$1.95. The company also increased its revenue forecast for the quarter to $4.75 bln from $4.7 bln, partly due to renewal of a cross license agreement with Samsung Electronics Co Ltd .
** DAVE & BUSTER’S ENTERTAINMENT INC, Tuesday close $48, +12.71 pct premarket
The restaurant and arcade chain operator reported better-than-expected third-quarter results helped by promotions and raised full-year 2016 revenue forecast. “We now expect to open eleven new stores this year of which six are in new markets for our brand,” says CEO Steve King.
** BILL BARRETT CORP, Tuesday close $8.01, -4.81 pct premarket
The oil and gas company announced public offering of 11.5 million common shares, representing nearly 19 percent of the company’s total shares outstanding.
** PIONEER ENERGY SERVICES CORP, Tuesday close $6.7, -9.70 pct premarket
The oil driller announced public offering of 9 million shares of common stock, representing about 14 percent of the company’s total shares outstanding.
** ANTHERA PHARMACEUTICALS INC, Tuesday close $1.47, +17.01 pct premarket
The drug developer reported positive trends for its blisibimod drug candidate following 48 weeks of proof-of-concept testing in patients with kidney disease. The company also promoted Craig Thompson as CEO, replacing Paul Truex.
** STARBUCKS CORP, Tuesday close $57.44, +0.26 pct premarket
The world’s largest coffee chain set an annual revenue growth target of 10 percent and profit growth target of 15-20 percent for the next five years, and the coffee chain said it planned to open 12,000 stores globally by 2021.
** AEROVIRONMENT INC, Tuesday close $29.34, -12.41 pct premarket
The drone maker reported bigger-than-expected Q2 loss and lower-than-expected revenue, hurt by lower sales in its unmanned aircraft systems business.
** MASTERCARD INC, Tuesday close $102, +1.11 pct premarket
The payment processor said it would buy back class A shares worth $4 billion and raised its quarterly dividend.
** SUNPOWER CORP, Tuesday close $6.96, +1.01 pct premarket
The No. 2 U.S. solar panel maker said it would lay off about 25 percent of its workforce, or 2,500 employees, and close one plant as part of a cost-cutting plan announced last month to counter slumping prices.
** MYLAN NV, Tuesday close $35.86, -1.28 pct premarket
The generic drugmaker said it may cut less than 10 percent of its global workforce as part of a restructuring program.
** FACEBOOK INC, Tuesday close $117.31, -0.21 pct premarket
A senior German conservative has warned Facebook it could face fines if it fails to act faster to tackle online hate speech, and he said the government could propose legislative measures in the new year.

Fidelity National, the maker of software mainly for the financial industry said it would sell its SunGard Public Sector and Education business to Vista Equity Partners for $850 million to focus on making software for the financial industry.

Trian Fund Management LP, top shareholder in the burger chain, hiked his stake to 23.45 percent from 20.66 percent.
** PRIVATEBANCORP INC, Tuesday close $52.14
Chicago-based PrivateBancorp postponed a shareholder vote due Thursday on a proposed takeover by Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce saying shareholders needed more time to consider it.
** STAPLES INC, Tuesday close $9.89, +0.61 pct premarket
The office supplies retailer said it would sell a controlling stake in its European business to private equity firm Cerberus Capital Management LP for 50 million euros ($53.65 million) to focus on its North American operations.
** COLUMBUS MCKINNON CORP, Tuesday close $27.59
Finnish crane maker Konecranes has agreed to sell its German business Stahl to the U.S. company for $240 million-246 million, the companies said.
