BUZZ-Canada's Enerplus jumps to highest since mid-2015 on asset sale

** Canadian energy producer’s Toronto- and U.S.-listed stock gains on $292 mln North Dakota asset sale, bump in crude prices

** Enerplus U.S.-listed shares jump 12 pct to 18-month high of $10.33, Toronto-listed shares rise as much as 11.3 pct to 19-month high of C$13.55

** Company says assets to be sold comprise of about 8 pct of its assets in North Dakota, or 5,800 net acres with average production rate of 5,000 BOE per day in Q3

** Enerplus also says will ramp up drilling in the Bakken

** Brent crude hits 18-month high on production cut agreed to by OPEC and other producers

** Toronto-listed stock up about 168 pct this year, easily set for its best annual gain ever and comes after two years of losses
