BUZZ-U.S. STOCKS ON THE MOVE-Micron, Red Hat, Renren, Xoma

U.S. stocks looked set to open little changed in light trading on Thursday as investors gear up for the holiday season.

Dow Jones industrial average futures were down 0.02 percent at 19,887, S&P 500 futures were down 0.06 percent at 2,259.25 and Nasdaq 100 futures were up 0.02 percent at 4,950.5.

** MICRON TECHNOLOGY INC, Wednesday close $20.58, +12.93 pct premarket

The chipmaker forecast current-quarter revenue and profit above estimates as a stabilizing PC market spurs demand and boosts prices of its memory chips.

** RED HAT INC, Wednesday close $79.79, -12.40 pct premarket

The Linux OS distributor reported lower-than-expected quarterly revenue, prompting at least two brokerages to downgrade the stock.

** OVASCIENCE INC, Wednesday close $2.97, -29.29 pct premarket

The fertility treatment provider said it would slow commercial expansion of its fertility treatment Augment, citing insufficient near-term financial return.

** BED BATH & BEYOND INC, Wednesday close $45.56, -4.06 pct premarket

The home furnishing retailer reported a third-quarter profit well below analysts’ estimate, hurt by higher costs.

** ALIBABA GROUP HOLDING LTD, Wednesday close $89.25, -2.02 pct premarket

The United States on Wednesday returned Taobao, the online bazaar run by Alibaba Group, to its blacklist of “notorious marketplaces” known for the sale of counterfeit goods and violations of intellectual property rights.

** RENREN INC, Wednesday close $1.65, +9.09 pct premarket

Chinese social networking company said it formed a special committee to review the terms of a proposed spin-off of its new subsidiary.

** XOMA CORP, Wednesday close $5.5, +10.91 pct premarket

The drug developer entered into two royalty interest acquisition agreements with Healthcare Royalty Partners II.

** AURINIA PHARMACEUTICALS INC, Wednesday close $2.72, -21.32 pct premarket
