BUZZ-Gold stocks: Gold touches 7-week high as dollar weakens

** Shares of U.S.-listed gold miners rise premarket after gold prices touched a 7-week high on weaker dollar

** The greenback weakened after U.S. President-elect Donald Trump provided little clarity on future fiscal policies in his first press conference on Wednesday

** Spot gold was up 1.1 pct at $1,204.56 per ounce, after touching a high of $1,206.98, its best since Nov. 23

** Dollar index, which measures the dollar against a basket of major currencies, was down 0.9 pct at 100.84

** U.S. gold futures up 0.6 pct to $1,204.4 per ounce

** Silver up 1.1 pct at $16.89 an ounce

** Barrick Gold Corp up 3.1 pct, Yamana Gold Inc up 3.1 pct, Harmony Gold Mining Co Ltd 3.7 pct, Kinross Gold Corp 6.5 pct, Silver Wheaton Corp 3.1 pct, McEwen Mining Inc 4.6 pct, Coeur Mining Inc 3.6 pct, Randgold Resources Ltd 4.7 pct, Newmont Mining Corp 2.6 pct, DRDGOLD Ltd 2.3 pct
