Toronto stocks open flat as coronavirus fears persist

(Reuters) - Canada’s main stock index opened flat on Tuesday, a day after it recorded its worst session in six months on widespread concerns over the coronavirus outbreak.

At 9:30 a.m. ET (14:30 GMT), the Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was up 7.51 points, or 0.04%, at 17,570.25.
