BUZZ-Siemens, Bombardier rise on train JV talks; Alstom slips

** Siemens shares (+1 pct) pick-up pace in volume to hit record high on talk that Siemens & Canada's Bombardier are pursuing a deal to combine train operations

** The proposed JV could be worth 10 billion euros ($10.61 billion), a Bloomberg report says

** Bombardier shares rise 5 pct in Toronto

** Shares of French train maker Alstom, mentioned in the report to be potential partner, fall 3.5 pct in volume, making it the 2nd most active stock on Stoxx 600

** Alstom, a competitor of Siemens and Bombardier, teamed up with the latter on a French rail contract earlier this year
