Ontario unveils small business tax cut, says on track for balanced budget

TORONTO (Reuters) - Canada’s province of Ontario announced a tax cut for small businesses on Tuesday and reiterated it is on track for a balanced budget for the first time since the global financial crisis.

Ontario, the country’s most populous province and economic engine, said in a fiscal update that it continues to project a balanced budget in 2017-18, unchanged from its April budget forecast.
