OTTAWA (Reuters) - Cheaper energy was the lead cause of a 0.5 percent decline in Canadian factory prices in September and a 4.3 percent fall in raw materials prices, Statistics Canada said on Friday.
The median forecasts in a Reuters survey of analysts was for a 0.4 percent fall in industrial product prices and only a 2.5 percent fall in raw materials prices.
