Petro-Canada warns on Western Canada gasoline

CALGARY, Alberta (Reuters) - Petro-Canada PCA.TO on Tuesday warned that problems at its Edmonton, Alberta, refinery may result in gasoline shortages at its stations in Alberta and parts of British Columbia.

The company said that a problem with a catalytic cracker at the 125,000 barrel per day refinery would lead to a shortfall in supplies. The company is working to fix the problem and is shipping gasoline from alternative sources.
