Petro-Canada warns on Western Canada gasoline

CALGARY, Alberta (Reuters) - Petro-Canada on Tuesday warned that problems at its Edmonton, Alberta, refinery may result in gasoline shortages at its stations in Alberta and parts of British Columbia.

The company said that a problem with a catalytic cracker at the 125,000 barrel per day refinery would lead to a shortfall in supplies. The company is working to fix the problem and is shipping gasoline from alternative sources.
