Canada says U.S. the epicenter of credit crisis

OTTAWA (Reuters) - The United States is the epicenter of the global credit crisis but no Group of Seven country is immune from potential fallout, a senior Canadian finance official said on Wednesday.

The comments were made during a briefing ahead of the meeting of G7 finance ministers and central bank governors in Washington on Friday. The following day, the IMF and World Bank begin two days of meetings.
