Canada's finance minister says favors a flexible yuan

MUMBAI (Reuters) - Canadian Finance Minister Jim Flaherty said on Tuesday he favors a flexible yuan.

He also said Canada would voice its opposition to a proposed bank tax at next month’s Toronto summit of the G20, a grouping that gathers major developed and emerging economies representing about 80 percent of global gross domestic product.

Flaherty was speaking to reporters on the sidelines of a business conference in the financial hub Mumbai.
