Environment Minister Prentice to resign: CBC

OTTAWA (Reuters) - Canadian Environment Minister Jim Prentice is set to announce he plans to resign, CBC television said on Thursday.

The job of is one of the toughest in the minority Conservative government, which critics regularly attack for not caring enough about the environment.

Prentice’s spokesman could not immediately be reached for comment.
