Iranian crown prince producing family movie

NEW YORK (Hollywood Reporter) - The exiled crown prince of Iran, Reza Pahlavi, will produce a movie about his aunt, the twin sister of the country’s last Shah.

“The Shadow of the Shah” revolves around Princess Ashraf Pahlavi, who was dubbed “The Black Panther” by the press. She supported Iranian women’s rights before the 1979 Islamic revolution forced her family into exile.

The indie project is being developed by producer Edward Bass and First Line Entertainment
