Officials decline to charge Shia LaBeouf in crash

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - “Indiana Jones” star Shia LaBeouf will not be charged after a car crash and his arrest on suspicion of drunken driving, prosecutors said on Thursday.

Police had said the other driver involved in the July crash ran a red light and slammed into the truck LaBeouf was driving.

“We are not filing charges due to insufficient evidence against actor Shia LaBeouf,” said Jane Robison, a spokeswoman for the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office.

LaBeouf, 22, played Indiana Jones’ son in the summer box office hit “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.”
