LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Elisha Cuthbert, of “24,” has joined the ABC drama series “The Forgotten” in a recurring role.

In a six-episode arc, she will play Maxine Denver, a strong and successful Chicago professional who is forced to put her skepticism of “amateur detectives” aside when the Forgotten Network begins investigating a case close to home.

Cuthbert will debut in episode 11 of the series, which stars Christian Slater.

Cuthbert, best known for her role as the daughter of Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) on “24,” will reprise that role in a couple of episodes of the series’ upcoming eighth season.
