LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - The Zac Brown Band won the Grammy for best new artist on Sunday.
The Atlanta-based country combo beat fellow nominees Keri Hilson, MGMT, Silversun Pickups and the Ting Tings.
The band released its debut album in 2004, but achieved national prominence in 2008 with its major-label debut “The Foundation,” which peaked at No. 17 on the U.S. pop chart.
