Kevin Bacon joins Steve Carell comedy

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Kevin Bacon is joining the cast of an untitled comedy starring Steve Carell and Julianne Moore as a couple undergoing a marriage crisis.

Carell’s character hires a slick life coach (Ryan Gosling) to reform him. Bacon will play a co-worker of Moore’s, an alpha male who begins an affair with her.

The Warner Bros. project shoots later this month. John Requa and Glenn Ficarra will direct. In March, Bacon wrapped “Elephant White” in Thailand alongside Djimon Hounsou for director Prachya Pinkaew. He won a SAG Award this year for the HBO TV movie “Taking Chance.”.
