SYDNEY (Reuters) - Australian supermodel Miranda Kerr is set to marry her Hollywood leading man, Orlando Bloom, the couple's publicists told media on Tuesday.
Kerr, 27, who shot to international fame as a Victoria's Secret lingerie model, and Bloom, 33, star of the "Pirates of the Caribbean" and "The Lord of the Rings" movies, began dating in 2007 and have frequently denied rumors of an impending wedding.
But Bloom's publicist told Entertainment Tonight that this time the reports are true.
"They are engaged," said the publicist.
Kerr's publicist Carlii Lyon told People magazine that both families were excited about the prospect of a wedding.
In May this year, Kerr was ranked ninth on the Forbes' Top 10 Earning Models list after earning an estimated $4 million in the past 12 months.
