Eugene Levy joins Canada hockey film "Goon"

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Eugene Levy is joining the cast of the Canadian hockey film “Goon,” a project that reunites him with his “American Pie” co-star Seann William Scott. Shooting is underway in Winnipeg.

Michael Dowse directs the adaptation of “Goon: The True Story of an Unlikely Journey into Minor League Hockey.” Actor Jay Baruchel, who also stars, wrote the adaptation with Evan Goldberg. The cast also includes Liev Schreiber and Alison Pill.
