Travel Picks: Eight of the world's largest things

SYDNEY (Reuters Life!) - Finding the world’s largest beer or the biggest burger isn’t always obvious with small towns often laying claim to such titles to attract weary travelers for an interesting stop-off.

Biggest Burger - Denny's Beer Barrel Pub, Clearfield, Pennsylvania (although this claim often faces rivals). Order ahead for a 123 lb (56 kg) burger. Of course, there's always the 6 lb (3 kg) version if you're just after a snack. REUTERS/Handout, has put together a list of some of the more unusual largest things in the world here with the list not endorsed by Reuters:

1. World’s Largest Beer - La Crosse, Wisconsin

Drive past Heileman’s Brewery in La Crosse to see the world’s largest beer, part of the world’s largest six-pack. Could this be anywhere else but Wisconsin? While in the state, visit the world’s largest talking cow (Neillsville), world’s largest penny (Woodruff) and the largest “M” (Platteville).

2. Largest Lobster - New Brunswick, Canada
