Former boy band Blue reform for summer gig: radio

LONDON (Reuters Life!) - Former British boy band Blue will reform to play an open air gig in June, Capital FM radio, which is organizing the event, said on Tuesday.

“We can exclusively reveal that Antony Costa, Duncan James, Lee Ryan and Simon Webbe will be reforming especially for the Summertime Ball,” the radio station said on its website.

The ball will be held on June 7 at the Emirates Stadium in north London, and alongside Blue, talent TV show star Leona Lewis and chart-topper Calvin Harris are expected to appear.

Blue sold an estimated seven million albums between 2001 and 2005, when they split up to pursue solo careers.
