LONDON (Reuters) - An official souvenir program to mark the marriage of Prince William and Kate Middleton is to be sold as a memento of the big day.

The program will include the full order of service that will be used by guests attending the ceremony in Westminster Abbey, a personal message of thanks from the couple, and a previously unseen photo of them taken by celebrity photographer Mario Testino.

Official programs are a traditional feature of royal weddings and were produced to mark the weddings of Prince Charles and Diana in 1981, and that of the Duke and Duchess of York in 1986.

Proceeds will go to the Foundation of Prince William and Prince Harry, which funds projects that help young people, support sustainable development in Britain and abroad, and the promote the welfare of veterans and their families.

The program will also be available to download for free from the Official Royal Wedding website, www.officialroyalwedding2011.org, from 24 hours before the April 29 wedding.
