PHILADELPHIA (Reuters) - U.S. artist Andrew Wyeth, a painter of landscapes in his native Pennsylvania and Maine, died on Friday, according to a spokeswoman for the Brandywine River Museum near his home in Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania.
Among the best-known works of Wyeth, 91, was "Christina's World." He was the son of painter and illustrator N.C. Wyeth.
Museum spokeswoman Hillary Holland said Wyeth died on Friday morning.
