LONDON (Reuters Life!) - Paul McCartney will tour Europe in December, starting in Hamburg where the Beatles built their reputation with live club performances nearly 50 years ago.
The seven-date tour ends in London at the O2 Arena and follows a five-week summer tour of the United States. It is McCartney’s first tour of Europe in five years.
“This is my chance to bring our current show home to where it all began,” McCartney said on his website Thursday.
“Starting in Hamburg, ending in London and rocking everywhere in between — I’m very much looking forward to ending the year on a high.”
The tour kicks off in Hamburg at the Color Line Arena on December 2 and ends at the O2 Arena on December 22.
