Enbridge may expand crude oil capacity of Line 9

CALGARY, Alberta, Aug 2 (Reuters) - Enbridge Inc is
assessing whether to expand its Eastern Canadian oil pipeline
beyond the current 240,000 barrels a day once the flow direction
is reversed to send crude to Montreal from Sarnia, Ontario, the
company's president said on Thursday.
Canada's regulator recently approved the reversal of the
westernmost segment of the pipeline, known as Line 9, last
month.
