UPDATE 1-Computer Modelling Q3 profit falls 11 pct

* Q3 EPS C$0.20 vs C$0.23 last year

* Q3 revenue up 3 pct

Feb 11 (Reuters) - Canada’s Computer Modelling Group’s quarterly earnings fell 11 percent, hurt by higher costs and foreign exchange losses.

Third-quarter earnings came in at C$3.7 million ($3.7 million), 20 Canadian cents per basic share, compared with C$4 million, or 23 Canadian cents per basic share, a year ago.

Revenue at the software technology company rose about 3 percent to C$12.1 million.

Analysts on average expected earnings of 24 Canadian cents a share on revenue of C$13.6 million, according to Thomson Reuters I/B/E/S.

Shares of the Calgary, Alberta-based company closed at C$25.50 on Thursday on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
