Feb 23 (Reuters) - Canadian software and services provider MKS Inc reported a higher third-quarter profit, helped by a 25 percent increase in licensing revenue.
Net income for the quarter was $2.0 million, or 19 cents a share, compared with $1.1 million, or 11 cents a share, last year.
Total revenue at the company, whose customers include Lockheed Martin Corp , Canon and HSBC Holdings Plc , rose 17 percent to $18 million.
