* Says review at mine found conditions better than expected
* Says almost completed rehiring of about 250 workers
March 10 (Reuters) - Canada's Gammon Gold said it expects to restart development of the El Cubo mine in Mexico by April, after resolving a labour disruption last month.
The gold and silver producer said it almost completed the rehiring process of over 250 workers at the mine, after a new agreement was negotiated with the union in February.
Gammon said a review at the mine found that mine conditions were better than expected.
The company will give a timeline on production schedules on March 28.
