March 10 (Reuters) - Canadian aviation repair company Vector Aerospace Corp’s fourth-quarter profit fell 5 percent on higher foreign exchange losses.
Net income for the third quarter was C$5.9 million, or 13 Canadian cents a share, down from C$6.2 million, or 14 Canadian cents a share, last year.
The company said it recorded foreign exchange losses of $1.1 million, compared with $0.3 million in the fourth quarter of 2009.
Revenue rose 3.5 percent to C$142.5 million.
The Toronto, Ontario-based company’s shares were up at C$9.90 in afternoon trade on Thursday on the Toronto Stock Exchange. (Reporting by Amruta Sabnis in Bangalore; Editing by Jarshad Kakkrakandy)
