March 28 (Reuters) - Oil and gas explorer Anderson Energy Ltd posted a wider fourth-quarter loss due to a reduction in proved natural gas reserves.
For the October-December quarter, net loss rose to C$11.7 million, or 7 Canadian cents a share, compared with loss of C$6.5 million, or 4 Canadian cents a share, a year ago.
Oil and gas revenue rose 17 percent to C$23.9 million.
Shares of the company, which have lost about 6 percent in value since touching a year high of C$1.36, closed at C$1.27 on Friday on the Toronto Stock Exchange. (Reporting by Amruta Sabnis in Bangalore; Editing by Jarshad Kakkrakandy)
