March 29 (Reuters) - Canadian fuel-cell maker Hydrogenics Corp posted a fourth-quarter loss.
The company, which develops hydrogen generation products for industrial and commercial markets, had posted a profit last year on a gain of $10.4 million related to its transaction with Algonquin Power Income Fund.
This year, net loss was $1.9 million, or 34 cents a share, compared with a profit of of $6.1 million, or $1.64 per share, a year ago.
Revenue rose 38 percent to $5.8 million.
Shares of the Mississauga, Ontario-based company closed at C$4.50 on Monday on the Toronto Stock exchange. (Reporting by Amruta Sabnis in Bangalore)
