April 19 (Reuters) - Day4 Energy Inc , a Canadian solar photovoltaic products maker, said it will cut 30 jobs at its Burnaby production facility in British Columbia to reduce costs.
Day4 Energy had a total of 198 employees as of March 30, according to its website.
The company said it would record a restructuring charge in the second quarter of 2011.
The solar energy company, which bought German equipment maker ACI Ecotec last year, said the workforce reduction would help it focus on Europe operations.
