June 13 (Reuters) - Canada’s Marsulex Inc , which provides waste management and recycling services to industries, posted a 40 percent rise in profit, helped by growth at its environmental technologies segment.
Income from continuing operations was C$6.7 million ($6.8 million), or 20 Canadian cents per basic share, compared with C$4.8 million, or 15 Canadian cents per basic share, a year ago.
The company, which also provides air quality control services, said revenue rose 45.5 percent to C$80.3 million. Its environmental technologies segment posted revenue of C$28.4 million, compared with C$9.5 million, a year earlier.
