July 28 (Reuters) - Canadian toy maker Mega Brands Inc posted a second quarter profit and said it expects international sales to grow further in the second half of the year.
The Montreal-based company earned $310,000, compared with a net loss of $428,000 a year ago.
Net sales for Mega Brands, which sells both its own brands and licensed toys, rose 6 percent to $83.9 million. Toy sales were up 11 percent
