Canada's oil output to grow to 5.1 mln bpd by 2030 -industry body

June 13 (Reuters) - Canadian oil production will grow to 5.1 million barrels per day (bpd) by 2030, up from 3.85 million bpd last year, the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers (CAPP) said in a report on Tuesday.

The industry body’s estimate is higher than the forecast it issued in June last year, when it said Canadian oil output would hit 4.9 million bpd by 2030.

Production from oil sands in the Canadian province of Alberta will reach 3.7 million bpd by 2030, CAPP said. bit.ly/2rmKJQt (Reporting by Ahmed Farhatha in Bengaluru; Editing by Sai Sachin Ravikumar)
