U.S. stocks climbed on Thursday and the Nasdaq touched a 15-year high following a ceasefire agreement between Russia and Ukraine and surprising stimulus measures by Sweden's central bank, although soft economic data tempered gains. The Dow Jones industrial average was up 0.48 percent at 17,947.68, the S&P 500 was up 0.78 percent at 2,084.64 and the Nasdaq Composite was up 0.95 percent at 4,846.77.

** APPLE INC, $126.1825, +1.04 pct

Activist investor and major Apple shareholder Carl Icahn said the iPhone maker's stock should be trading at $216, far above its record high of $124.92 hit on Wednesday.

At $216 per share, Apple - already the world's most valuable company - would be worth about $1.3 trillion, or about the size of South Korea's gross domestic product. The company is valued at just over $700 billion currently.

** ORBITZ WORLDWIDE, $11.72, +21.83 pct

Online travel agency Expedia said it would buy rival Orbitz Worldwide for about $1.38 billion, as it looks to increase its customers base in a highly competitive industry.

Oil prices rebounded more than $1 to $56 a barrel as a weakened dollar and industry spending offset worries of a supply glut.

The healthcare services provider said its offering of 2.5 million shares would be priced at $41 apiece, a discount of 2 percent to Wednesday's close. The offering represents 11 percent of the company's outstanding common stock as of Feb. 5.

** INVITAE CORP, $17.08, +6.75 pct

The genetic testing company priced its upsized offering of 6.4 million shares at $16 per share, above the expected range of $13-$15.

** ADVANCE AUTO PARTS INC, $152.78, -5.92 pct

The auto parts retailer reported lower-than-expected fourth-quarter profit and revenue, hurt by a higher mix of low-margin commercial sales.

** NETSOL TECHNOLOGIES INC, $5.14, +25.37 pct

The information technology services provider's second-quarter revenue rose 44.2 percent to $12.4 million, helped by greater sales of licenses and higher income from services.

** INOVALON HOLDINGS INC, $29.25, +8.33 pct

The healthcare data analytics company raised about $600 million in an offering of 22.2 million class A shares at $27 each.

** ALASKA AIR GROUP INC, $62.68, -2.84 pct

The company said it expects a first-quarter economic fuel cost of $1.97/gallon, above its prior guidance of $1.85.

** CORNERSTONE ONDEMAND INC, $33.6, -6.41 pct

Analysts at Pacific Crest cut their rating on the stock to "sector perform" from "outperform" and two other brokerages cut price targets after the company forecast first-quarter revenue below analyst estimates.

** STAMPS.COM INC, $56.15, +17.35 pct

The online postage services provider posted better-than-expected fourth-quarter adjusted profit and revenue as more customers used its mailing and shipping services.

** WHITEWAVE FOODS CO, $37.355, +5.11 pct

The dairy products maker reported better-than-expected fourth-quarter sales, helped by acquisitions of Earthbound Farm and So Delicious.

** PRECISION DRILLING CORP, $5.82, +2.83 pct

The Canadian drilling contractor's fourth-quarter revenue rose 9.1 pct, due to higher drilling activity and average day rates in the start of the quarter.

** GNC HOLDINGS INC, $49.25, +13.61 pct

The nutritional supplement retailer reported better-than-expected fourth-quarter revenue and profit, helped by improved promotional activities in the retail segment.

** LUXOFT HOLDING INC, $46.25, +7.16 pct

The IT services provider's third-quarter profit and revenue were better-than-expected, helped by higher sales from its financial services business.

** WORLD WRESTLING ENTERTAINMENT INC, $13.95, +4.34 pct

The media and entertainment company reported fourth-quarter revenue above analysts' estimate, driven by the rise of TV rights fees.

** TIME INC, $23.94, -4.05 pct

The publisher said it saw revenue falling 9-6 percent for the year, much more than the average analyst estimate. The fall was due to declining advertising and subscription revenue, the company added.

** TREEHOUSE FOODS INC, $80.65, -9.12 pct

The packaged foods and beverages maker reported lower-than expected fourth-quarter sales and profit, blaming an unexpected reduction in inventory by a mass merchant customer in late December.

** SKECHERS USA INC, $65.92, +6.25 pct

At least five brokerages, including Citigroup, raised their price targets on the stock after the company reported better-than-expected revenue on Wednesday.

** KELLOGG CO, $63.58, -4.10 pct

The world's largest maker of breakfast cereals cut its forecast for long-term annual revenue growth as consumers shift away from cereals and snacks to cheaper private label foods and cook more at home.

** AMERICAN EXPRESS CO, $80.97, -5.86 pct

American Express said Costco Wholesale Corp would stop accepting its cards in the United States from next April, after the companies failed to reach terms on renewal of an agreement.

** CABELA'S INC, $51.85, -5.59 pct

The hunting, fishing, and camping merchandise retailer reported a lower-than-expected fourth-quarter profit due to discounting, higher advertising and promotional spending.

** TRIPADVISOR INC, $83.11, +23.55 pct

** LIBERTY TRIPADVISOR HOLDINGS INC, $31.07, +28.28 pct

At least four brokerages raised their price targets with Deutsche Bank being the most bullish at $108 following the company's fourth-quarter results.

The travel review website operator reported better-than-expected quarterly revenue as it earned more from click-based advertising and subscriptions.

Shares of Liberty Tripadvisor, TripAdvisor's parent, also rose.

** AMBER ROAD INC, $8.705, -10.26 pct

Trade management software maker forecast a bigger-than-expected loss for the first-quarter and 2015. It also said it expects first-quarter revenue below analysts' estimate.

** CORINTHIAN COLLEGES INC, $0.0277, -25.14 pct

The for-profit education company received a delisting notice from the Nasdaq. Trading is to be suspended from Nasdaq Capital Market on Feb. 17.

** NETAPP INC, $36.73, -7.69 pct

At least 12 brokerages cut their price targets after the company reported lower-than-expected third-quarter revenue late on Wednesday and forecast fourth-quarter profit and revenue below analysts' average estimates.

** NATIONAL BANK OF GREECE , $1.38, +10.40 pct

Greece and its euro zone partners are drafting a common statement that could leave it open for Greece to extend its current financing.

The final outcome of negotiations between Greece and creditors could either make or break Greek banks, Goldman Sachs analysts had said last week.

** ZULILY INC, $14.53, -26.95 pct

The online retailer forecast first-quarter and 2015 revenue below analysts' expectations and reported lower-than-expected fourth-quarter revenue and profit as expenses jumped about 58 percent.

** CISCO SYSTEMS INC, $29.3, +8.80 pct

The network equipment maker reported stronger-than-expected quarterly revenue and profit as demand for switching equipment and routers helped make up for weak spending by the company's traditional telecom customers.

At least 14 brokerages raised price targets on the stock, with Cowen & Co and FBN Securities raising to $35, the highest.

** TESLA MOTORS INC, $200.7, -5.69 pct

The electric-car company missed fourth-quarter sales targets and analysts' profit expectations, but Chief Executive Elon Musk said on Wednesday that Tesla's growth trajectory could take its market value to $700 billion by 2025, matching that of Apple Inc.

** BAIDU INC, $205.555, -4.25 pct

The Chinese internet firm's shift to smartphones has come at a cost: Baidu forecast lower-than-expected revenue growth for the first quarter as its share from less profitable mobile browsing grows at the expense of PC searches.

** ACHILLION PHARMACEUTICALS INC, $10.9, -2.94 pct

The drug developer priced its offering of 12 million shares at $10.25 per share, a discount of 9 percent to the stock's close on Wednesday.

** WHOLE FOODS MARKET INC, $56.12, +4.88 pct

The upscale grocer said on Wednesday that same-store sales had accelerated, helped by stronger consumer confidence and shoppers' positive response to its price cutting and first national advertising campaign.

** GOLD FIELDS LTD, $5.01, -8.41 pct

The South African gold miner reported a net loss in fourth-quarter due to softer gold prices

** NVIDIA CORP, $22.2999, +7.16 pct

The graphics chipmaker posted higher quarterly results on Wednesday that beat Wall Street expectations, as it sought to sharpen its focus on high-end automobiles.

Nvidia is trying to expand its graphics technology beyond the sluggish personal computer industry with its Tegra line of chips for mobile devices and increasingly for cars.

** FIREEYE INC, $39.74, +11.35 pct

The cybersecurity company's quarterly revenue beat market estimates as governments and businesses ramped up spending to protect their networks from increasingly sophisticated attacks.

** CHEESECAKE FACTORY INC, $47.78, -9.92 pct

The restaurant and bakery operator reported lower-than-expected fourth-quarter profit and revenue as stiff competition hurt traffic and higher costs squeezed margins. Fourth-quarter comparable-restaurant sales rose 1.4 percent, short of the average analyst estimate of 1.9 percent, according to research firm Consensus Metrix.

** PANERA BREAD CO, $162.02, -8.19 pct

The bakery cafe operator forecast 2015 profit to be flat to down in the mid-to high-single digits in percentage terms as higher spending and labor costs hurt margins. The company also forecast lower-than-expected fourth-quarter revenue due to lower sales of dough and other products to franchisees.
