Sept 7 (Reuters) - Canadian dollar-store operator Dollarama Inc reported a 24 percent rise in quarterly profit on Thursday as customers on average spent more at its stores.
The Montreal-based company’s net income rose to C$131.8 million ($108.2 million), or C$1.15 per share, in the second quarter ended July 30, from C$106.4 million, or 88 Canadian cents per share, a year earlier.
