US STOCKS SNAPSHOT-Wall St opens higher as Dubai concerns ease

NEW YORK, Dec 1 (Reuters) - U.S. stocks opened higher on Tuesday as concerns over Dubai’s debt problems eased and solid manufacturing data from China boosted sentiment.

The Dow Jones industrial average .DJI was up 108.90 points, or 1.05 percent, at 10,453.74. The Standard & Poor’s 500 Index .SPX rose 11.57 points, or 1.06 percent, at 1,107.20. The Nasdaq Composite Index .IXIC gained 23.58 points, or 1.10 percent, at 2,168.18.
