* Telus to invest more than C$250 mln in Quebec in 2009

TORONTO, June 11 (Reuters) - Telus Corp (T.TO), Canada's No. 2 telephone company said on Thursday it plans to invest more than C$250 million this year in the province of Quebec.
The company said the investment is focused primarily on advanced wireless and wireline broadband infrastructure and includes health-care related technology and applications.
Since 2000, Telus said it has made more than C$6 billion in capital and operating investments in the province.
The company said the investment announcement is consistent with the company's overall capital expenditure forecast for 2009. (Reporting by Euan Rocha, editing by Maureen Bavdek)
